If you take all the colorful characters you'd find on such a shoot and put them in a far-flung, brutal location where they are out of their element, like the desert, it makes for a great story. He's carried around this idea about a fancy model shoot (with all the expensive clothes and jewelry and equipment) that gets robbed in the middle of nowhere. Toby Poser: John Adams (my creative partner and husband) was a model in the 90's, and he was always flying off to these exotic remote places all over the world. Question: What inspired the story of The Shoot? While Z has won acting awards on the indie film festival circuit, she has also been operating the camera since she was 9 and is now writing, directing, shooting, and editing her own short films and music videos. Zelda Adams was born in New York City and moved to Topanga Canyon, CA when she was 5. After spending a year abroad to travel and study in France, Lulu will finish her senior year at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, OR in 2020, where she majors in French and Psychology, and plays soccer and Ultimate Frisbee. After winning acting awards for her performance in Rumblestrips, Lulu began working behind the camera at age 13. As a kid she occasionally appeared in TV commercials and ad campaigns like GapKids. As a voice over artist, she’s been heard on numerous national campaigns, including the Progressive Auto Insurance commercials with Flo. For three years she filled the role of GUIDING LIGHT's wicked "Malibu Madam" Amanda Spaulding, all the while acting in other TV classics like all of the various LAW & ORDERs and in independent films like Sundance darlings THE INCREDIBLY TRUE ADVENTURE OF 2 GIRLS IN LOVE and STEAL ME. Toby PoserĪfter graduating from Tulane University with a BFA in Acting, Toby Poser moved to New York and began acting in stage productions Off-Broadway (like Mike Leigh's ECSTASY with the New Group) and regionally. He's also a house and barn builder and a soccer and track coach. In 2008 the Fuse Channel cast John as Rock and Roll Acid Test's stuntman/maniac-with-a-hammer. Hailing from New York state, John enjoyed an illustrious modeling career in the '90s, representing the likes of Armani and Calvin Klein and traveling all over the globe. Aside from composing music for film, John is also known for writing and performing with bands Banana Fish Zero, Statues of Liberty, and Kid Kalifornia. When not making films, John Adams is an accomplished artist (see ) and musician.
